Facilities Manager

Lead, manage and supervise Facilities Division. Serves as the facility management expert and member of the park management team to develop and implement management strategies. Manages Facility Management Software Systems for cost effective management of assets. Responsible for a comprehensive safety and training program to eliminate at risk behaviors and environments and enforce regulatory policies and mandates. Responsible for development and implementation of projects and development of alternatives for facility modifications when infrastructure capabilities cannot support mission requirements. Coordinates project scope, goals and objectives; facilitates planning and design processes; develops spending plan and budget protocols; manages construction process ensuring all project documentation is completed and achieved. Develops and manages the maintenance division's budget, utilizing the NPS financial management program. This position has total responsibility for the proper allocation and accountability. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-11/19/2020-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To qualify for this position at the GS-13 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as:
1) provide facility management for the park; 2) serve as a member of the park management team to develop and implement management strategies; 3) manage facility management software systems for cost effective management of assets; 4) lead comprehensive safety and training program to eliminate at risk behaviors and environments and enforce regulatory policies and mandates; 5) develop and implementation of projects and development of alternatives for facility modification when infrastructure capabilities cannot support the mission requirements; 6) coordinate project scope, goals, and objectives; 7) facilitates planning and design processes; 8) develops spending plan and budget protocols; 9) manages construction process ensuring all project documentation is complete and achieved; 10) development and management of maintenance division budget utilizing financial management programs. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
